Prof. Vedat Suat Erturk, born in 1967 in Mercan, Tercan district, Turkey’s Erzincan province, began his undergraduate studies at Ondokuz Mayis University’s Department of Mathematics in 1985 and graduated from the same department in 1989. He received a master’s degree in 1994 and a doctorate in 2000. Between 1990 and 2000, he worked as a Research Assistant for Ondokuz Mayis University, Department of Mathematics. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the same department from 2000 to 2009, and in 2009, he was promoted to Associate Professor. He was promoted to Full Professor in 2015. He is still working as a Professor at Ondokuz Mayis University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics. He has published more than 100 research papers with 5000+ citations and an h-index of 36.
